Extendas has developed a complex Online Information System for Lekkerland Nederland BV. Extendas developed a system that directly contacts the own database of Lekkerland Nederland. With the new information system, work can be done much more fast, accurate and cheap than with standard systems, with which work often is done with the intervention of expensive third parties.
By means of a personal code, a customer gets access to the system. There he gets, next to detailed product and price data, extended information about orders and deliveries. Customers are being informed directly about whether the products they wish are available. Information about new products or changes in the assortment can be shown directly. Furthermore, several maintenance possibilities are developed. Customers can, for example, manage their own selling prices and margins, print shelf cards and register a favorite assortment.
After the order is received, the customer gets an electronic order confirmation & invoice. The numbers and values of this are checked completely automatically, and next processed in Fuel Office. Updates and changed article assortment data are synchronized between Extendas FuelOffice and the Lekkerland Information System by means of the so-called 'Artikelvergelijk bericht'. From Extendas FuelOffice, electronic orders can be sent to the Lekkerland online information system automatically. Thereafter, the course of the order can be followed online (Tracking & Tracing).

VanDrie Group In less than fifty years, the VanDrie Group has grown to be the largest private agro company in the Nederlands. With a turnover of 1 billion euro per year, the company is the world market leader in veal. The company has fixed cooperation contracts with over 1000 calf breedings and owns fodder companies for the production of calf milk powder, slaughterhouses in the Netherlands, Belgium and France and a factory where calf skins are processed for the production of high-quality calf leather. In total, 1800 people are employed. The indirect employment amounts to over 2500 jobs.
The transparency of the chain is given, among others, by the tracing system www.vealvision.com, developed by Extendas. This system of the VanDrie Group can be consulted at every random time by third parties via the internet. It does not only provide insight to tracking and tracing for the consumer of veal, but also for the calf breeder, who can obtain from this the necessary information about the calves he looked after. Moreover, this system, which finds it's origin in the unique ID codes of the calves, is linked to the traceability system under Safety Guard. At any time after delivery of the veal it's possible to retrieve which calf is concerned, what the calf has eaten, with which recipe the calf milk powder is made, who the suppliers of the raw materials of the calf milk powder were, in which trucks the meat is transported, on which time the truck is weighted and has left the terrain and which medicines are given. Also can be examined when the calf is checked, by whom and how, which certificate number has been granted to the calf by the SKV (Stichting Kwaliteitsgarantie Vleeskalversector), which samples have been taken and under which numbers these are registered.
Recently, the Van Drie Group won the de prestigious Dutch Logistic Prize 2005
